Kong Recipe – The basic Kong method

Here is the basic recipe for a Kong to start you off.

All you need is your dog food, bit of hard mixer food and some peanut butter or cheese.

Start off by getting hold of the Kong and putting a special treat that your dog will love at the bottom of it.

Then mix in some dry mixer food (kibble) and some canned dog food. Once your Kong is full, seal it by smearing peanut butter across the end or stuffing end of it with cheese to keep it all inside the Kong.

Once it is full you have the choice of freezing it over night or giving it straight to your dog.

If you are giving it to your dog when you are leaving home for a few hours, try freezing it as it will then last longer for your dog and be more fun trying to get the food and treats out.
